ThermoFisher mRNA unit in Monza is looking for a Supervisor, Supply Chain mRNA!

What will you do?

Planning
  • Liaise with Production, in order to ensure that the production planning of the area and the weekly schedule of the production departments are properly defined based on the capacity available, that the necessary materials are delivered on time to satisfy the schedule, that production orders are released and the order status is constantly monitored to meet the delivery dates.
  • Support the Quality function with the definition of the priorities in what concerns the analysis and approval/releases of raw materials and finished products.

Process control
  • Ensure the provision of the necessary tools to support the activities for the area. To identify any needs to improve current tools or implement new ones, to verify the uploading and control process is efficient and any information is registered in a timely and correct manner, in order to constantly improve the productivity indicators and the efficiency level of the logistics area.
  • To coordinate the local logistics groups and identify any necessary intervention that can optimize the capacity utilization of the area and can ensure our clients demands are met in full and on time.

Material supply
  • To work closely with the EU Purchasing department in order to ensure that material supplies are managed in an efficient and effective manner, by identifying the materials necessary to satisfy the production schedule, verifying the purchase requests for instruments, components and consumption materials are received and the respective purchase orders are released, maintaining strong commercial relationships with qualified vendors based on a good control on pricing, delivery dates and efficiency.

Client Service
  • Ensure that our client service delivery performance is maintained at the highest level. To maintain strong relationships with our clients and coordinate activities in order to ensure the clients are kept informed in a timely manner.
  • To ensure the correct application of import/export procedures.

Reporting
  • Ensure an adequate reporting to the Area and Corporate Management about delivery dates, costs and order status, in respect of the company interests and standards.

Development and management of the reporting structure
  • Ensure the establishment and successive direction, coordination and control of the reporting structure, through the identification of objectives, valorization of the results, identification of the training and development needs, in order to guarantee a high level of performance and motivation.

Requirements and qualifications:

Education:

University degree or equivalent experience

Technical and PC knowledge:
  • Good knowledge of the supply chain information systems
  • Office

Professional experience:

Production logistics experience within third party pharmaceutical company

Foreign languages:
  • English

  • Ability to manage projects

(b) desirable:

Industrial Engineering university degree or Technical/Economics degree

Previous experience in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics or food industry
