How will you make an impact?

Responsible for leading a team of Material Handlers who perform as site experts for all material and equipment receipt and movements to support site operations. Receive and process raw materials for proper storage. Operate company vehicles and material handling equipment. Support packing of product shipments. Identify and pull correct materials to support Production needs. Manage warehouse space to use space efficiently. Ensure safety compliance is met, as well as, protecting the integrity of the material and equipment. Support work orders and preventative maintenance, serving as the point of contact with Facilities and outside contractors. Work with limited direct supervision on daily tasks. Provide guidance and training to team members.

What will you do?

  • Direct supervision and management for day-to-day operations of staff, prioritizing assignments, and developing staff.
  • Documentation, including but not limited to SOPs; create, review, revise, and or develop procedures.
  • Perform all SAP transactions required in the transfer and movement of warehouse-managed material. Perform SAP transactions to support non-inventoried material transfers and movements. Perform investigations on receipt variances.
  • Maintain cGMP compliance, at all times, to perform various shipping processes
  • Keep current on all required training, and provide training to direct reports.

How will you get here?

Education

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Some College preferred

Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Strong understanding of cGMP requirements as they relate to material storage and handling
  • Forklift experience preferred
  • Lean Management skills are a plus

Physical Requirements:

  • Position requires mobility between buildings, including exposure to inclement weather
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. on a regular basis
  • Equipment/machinery/tools used may include forklifts, pallet jack, drum dolly, and barrel hoist
