Scientist 3 – Cell Line Development, Large Molecule

We are looking to fill a position for a Scientist 3 – Cell Line Development, for the Discovery Process Biologics group in the BioProcess R&D Department, working as a full-time employee of ExecuPharm / Parexel FSP on long-term assignment onsite at one of our clients located in Boston, MA. Description:   Seeking a highly motivated and experienced scientist to develop microbial and mammalian production cell lines for innovative biopharmaceuticals. The successful candidate should have solid training in cell biology/molecular biology/biochemistry with hands-on experience in DNA vector construction and microbial/mammalian cell culture.

The candidate must have experience in executing study designs, data collection/analysis, and report generation. The selected candidate will be expected to work independently, including designing, trouble shooting, and executing experiments.

QualificationsBS in Biology, Molecular Biology, or an associated major with 3-5 years of experienceOr MS in Biology, Molecular Biology, or an associated major with at least 1 year of experience

Required Skills and ExperienceFamiliar with routine microbial, mammalian cell culture and molecular recombinant techniquesFamiliar with high-throughput cell culture technologyCapable of independent experimental executionExcellent oral and written communication skillsData analysis and presentation using MS office or other standard softwareExcellent interpersonal skills to work in a team environment

Desired Skills and ExperienceCell line development for recombinant protein expressionMolecular biology techniques such as molecular cloning and Western blotting
