Must be willing to work on-site (Memphis, TN) and be willing to dedicate 16 hours per week with your upcoming Spring 2023 semester.
We are seeking a Manufacturing Science and Technology Intern for our Cell Therapy Manufacturing Facility located in Memphis, TN.
The Manufacturing Science and Technology Intern is responsible for successfully completing the internship program course leading up to the potential involvement of various Analytical Science or Manufacturing Science related activities associated with the start-up of GMP production or QC lab activities of a number of novel cellular products. This includes compliance with regulatory agencies and associated guidelines. Must be able to meet physical requirements established in this job description.
The following are responsibilities related to the Manufacturing Science and Technology Intern:
• Demonstrate necessary knowledge of cGMP requirements.
• Ability to review process documentation and/or quality control documents to assess feasibility.
• Display an ability to create and review cGMP documentation.
• Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Display an ability to think critically and assess risk.
• Perform other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications
The following are minimum qualifications related to the Manufacturing Science and Technology Intern position:
• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor program with a preferred minimum of 3.0 GPA.
• Must be detailed oriented and have excellent organizational skills.
• Must possess effective written and oral communication skills.
• Must display a high degree of professionalism and confidentiality.
• Experience with statistical analysis software preferred.
• Experience with design software preferred.
