Analytical Instruments Group (AIG) provides a broad offering of instruments, consumables, software and services that are used for a range of applications in the laboratory, on the production line and in the field. These products and services are used by customers in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, academic, government, environmental and other research, and industrial markets, as well as the clinical laboratory.

AIG Finance has built a Digital Analytics and Business Services (DABS) center, that strives to provide meaningful FP&A insights and analytics to AIG divisions through functional expertise, enabling business services, and next-gen Finance capabilities. Particularly, this DABS center will enable FP&A insights with a focus on customer centricity & business services support, promote FP&A process efficiency and find opportunities for productivity enhancements, drive excellence in scale through process harmonization across AIG divisions, adopt digital solutions to elevate FP&A insights and enable continuous improvement of reporting, planning, and forecasting.

The AIG Senior Finance Analyst, reporting to the AIG FP&A Intake Management Lead of the DABS center, will serve the needs of the AIG business globally through intake of customer requests related to the AIG FP&A dashboards and SPOT data cubes (defects, enhancements, access, training) to be prioritized and resolved, including facilitation of decision-making, evaluation of requests with the Advisory Council, Sprint Planning and client requests management through ServiceNow. The AIG Senior Finance Analyst will monitor the intake funnel for new requests, request logs for resolution, working with customers, team members from DABS center, and technical solutioning teams from IT to ensure ticket resolution on time meeting the Service Level Agreement DABS has with the Business.

What you will do:

• Run intake log of customer requests to ensure right owners are assigned and requests are closed on-time using Service Now

• Facilitate decision and prioritization discussions of customer requests, balancing value to business, cost to implement and resources constraints; document key decisions and handle communications to key customers

• Address simple customer issues (training, user access, defects) that don’t require technical solutioning

• Handle user access for dashboards / platforms of AIG FP&A

· Cover for other Business Services functions and get involved into finance projects as needed

How you will get here:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Information Technology

• Preferred – Master's Degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Finance or Computer Science

Experience

• 3+ years of experience in Shared Services, Finance or Project Management

• Prior experience in a large global company and highly matrixed organization is desired

• Prior experience in handling customer intake and requests management using Service Now tool is an advantage

• Prior experience in FP&A is an advantage

• Prior experience/familiarity with business intelligence, data analytics, Robotics Process Automation and/or Intelligence Automation is preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

• Knowledge of Service Now tool to run customer intake, triage ticket, monitor ticket resolution, send notification to customers and cross functional team members acting on tickets

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to collaborate with various partners across business (finance users) and technical solutioning team (IT)

• Knowledge of business intelligence, data analytics/visualization, and process optimization

• Able to develop executive presentations with effective storyboarding, status update

• Able to anticipate and plan for the unexpected and tackle problems while maintaining a big picture perspective

• Able to make sound business decisions and drive efficiencies

• Able to make commitments, track and communicate progress, and follow through until completion

• Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work based on business needs

• Self-motivated, higher level of flexibility and strong work ethic to get the job done

• Self-starter with the ability to learn new tools, systems and processes quickly

Travel requirements • 10% domestic/international travel required
