The Director - Business Transformation will lead the planning and execution finance transformation initiatives for the Analytical Instruments Group (AIG). This role is responsible for defining the transformation initiatives roadmap, collaborating closely with leaders across functions/business units and, coordinating and organizing efforts across individual finance transformation workstreams. This role will also help organize events and workshops in a structured way to find opportunities for process improvement and drive initiative planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of transformation roadmap following a robust and structured approach to identify/prioritize initiatives aligning with leadership, and coordinate estimation on effort/duration/resources
  • Lead, organize, and conduct workshops working with leaders and key partners across business units, and synthesize findings into opportunities/initiatives for the transformation program
  • Define and structure the program management approach, and guide initiative leaders to follow through a consistent program management cadences and documentation
  • Manage execution of initiatives and coordinate efforts and thinking across workstreams to ensure initiatives are delivered timely, interdependencies across initiatives are supervised, and risks/issues are uncovered and raised to program leaders for resolution
  • Lead development of executive-level presentation to report out on initiative progress, drive decision making and work on materials for senior leaders on a regular cadence as well as ad-hoc basis
  • Work with Capability Leader and Program Leader to define vision, strategy, and goals for the transformation program - both short and long term
  • Support the project goal setting process and establish / implement tools and mechanisms to supervise progress and ensure value realization from initiatives
  • Promote integration and coordination with leaders and team members across initiatives teams, clarifying interdependencies and ensuring streamlined communication between the teams
  • Participate in initiative team meetings to provide guidance to the initiative teams, to uncover and to help team prioritize issues/risks to resolve, and bring these insights into program level regular meetings
  • Drive and coordinate effort in organizational change, communication, trainings to ensure successful end user adoptions to realize value to the business

Qualifications:

  • 8-10 years of professional experience in project management, management consulting, and knowledge of Corporate Finance
  • Strategic and critical thinking, approaching problem solving with structure and creativity
  • Demonstrated capabilities in putting thoughts into executive level materials
  • Experience in tracking project goals, risks, and issues, conceptualizing mitigating strategies and presenting the same to senior management
  • Strong analytical skills and experience in processes, workflows, metrics development
  • Demonstrated experience as a collaborative team member with good interpersonal skills, including the ability to report important issues and options clearly
  • Analytical capacities to synthesize large quantities of data and information and present thinking to the leadership
  • Intellectually curious and interested in the future of financial services
  • Keeps updated on industry and company practices relevant to project management, e.g. metrics performance indicators, protocols, etc.
  • Developing executive presentations with effective storyboarding, status update
  • Project Financial Evaluation skills incl. DCF Valuations, CAPEX planning & NPV analysis

Benefits:

The salary range estimated for this positionis $149,700-$210,000. Thisposition will also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. Actual compensation will be confirmed in writing at the time of offer.
