Job Description

Reporting to the Payroll Supervisor, the Payroll Specialist will possess the experience and dedication to handle the EMEA payroll process covering multiple payrolls. You will be able to run the payrolls with minimal support and have the ability to pick up other French-speaking payrolls from outwith France. To be successful in this role you will have strong payroll processing knowledge and experience working with a 3rd party payroll vendor. You will understand the payroll processing steps to follow from ensuring the accurate inputs have been delivered per the payroll checklist to performing checks and validations on the payroll outputs.Effective interpersonal skills are required as you will collaborate closely with employees across the region and various internal teams such as Colleague Services, Finance, HR etc. You will also have regular contact with the payroll vendor. You will already have an understanding of local tax calculations and knowledge of company policies regarding benefits and payments on some payrolls but will be required to develop this knowledge as you take on responsibility for other payrolls.

· Collation & Calculation of payroll input where appropriate· Working within our defined processes to ensure no control or compliance breaches· Work with the appointed payroll vendor to ensure all payments are successfully runin a timely manner (employee, third party and statutory)· Ensure timely delivery of all payroll reports to internal and external customers· Work with payroll vendor to ensure tax year end reports are delivered in accordance withcountry legislation and on time· Providing first line support for all payroll and tax related queries· Create and Maintain payroll manuals and related payroll instructions· Assist and support internal and external audit teams· Work with colleagues from around the business to ensure smooth end 2 end payrollprocessing· Introduce process improvements within assigned countries and beyond· Participate in business/functional projects· Participate in Vendor Service Review Call

Qualifications:· At least 3 years Payroll Experience and Technical knowledge of end to end payrollprocessing on French Payroll· French and English language skills· Excellent interpersonal skills both verbal & written· Experience of working within a Shared Service/Payroll environment would be preferable2· Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) Skills, specifically enhanced excel skills(including Pivot Tables & Look Up)· Ability to provide an excellent customer experience to ensure all payroll queries arerun optimally· Strong interpersonal skills to ensure the timely completion of the payrolls, withinrequired time scales· Accuracy, attention to detail and numeracy skills are important· Ability to identify and implement process improvement
