Sr Manager, Continuous Improvement Leader

Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Continuous Improvement Manager to join our team in Budapest. As the Senior Continuous Improvement Manager, you will play a key role in the implementation of our CI Business System, Practical Process Improvement (PPI). You will work closely with business leadership and steering committees to establish and mature the PPI Business System and other Lean/Six Sigma tools to optimize our systems and processes.

Job Responsibilities:

• Support the design and implementation of the Transformation program
• Identify and prioritize activities impacting processes at best class levels
• Drive digital programs in a Shared Services environment using VSM and Kaizen abilities
• Optimize process realization through a value stream management approach
• Enhance processes to improve the customer experience and critical metrics
• Increase autonomy and the pace of change within teams
• Partner with Global Process Owners on enabling technologies
• Enable technology-led solution design incorporating baseline systems and data architecture
• Boost productivity through the use of digital tools

Requirements:

• Passion for driving improvement and leading change
• Strong social skills and the ability to positively influence leadership
• Extensive experience with metric-based methods and TPS-based business systems
• Proven record for developing and training teams
• Self-directed leader with the ability to influence across the organization
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, science, operations, or business, or equivalent experience in the field.
• Lean Six Sigma Certification
• Accounting/Finance certification or equivalent experience
