As a Site Activation Specialist - Contacts and Vendor Specialist, you will be joining the world’s largest & most comprehensive clinical research organisation, powered by healthcare intelligence.

What you will be doing:

The position involves managing the entire lifecycle of contracts with external parties under the guidance of the Global Clinical Study Support (CSS) management. This includes handling the approval process, negotiation, execution, and financial reconciliation of various agreements. The role supports the CSS Central Services team and ensures compliance with legal and financial standards.

  • Negotiate and execute agreements with Healthcare Practitioner (HCP) and non-HCP consultants, including Confidentiality Agreements (CDAs) and Consulting Agreements (CAs).
  • Handle agreements with vendors, such as Master Services Agreements (MSAs) and Statements of Work/Work Orders (SOWs/WOs).
  • Conduct Fair Market Value (FMV) evaluations and Needs Assessment for HCP/n-HCP engagements.
  • Collaborate with Compliance and Legal teams for Fee-for-Service approvals.
  • Perform Privacy and Cybersecurity Assessments for vendor engagements.
  • Manage financial aspects of contracts, including supplier intake, purchase requisition, and purchase order management using ERP systems (specifically SAP Ariba).
  • Work closely with Procurement and Finance/Accounting departments.
  • Review and validate the accuracy of contracts and related documents.
  • Assist in reporting Key Performance Indicators and Central Services metrics.
  • Maintain consistent communication with internal clients through various channels, including in-person meetings, phone calls, and emails.

You are:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, finance, science or related fields
  • A minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience is required; however, candidates with 8+ years of experience are preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP Ariba, Salesforce, Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint.
  • Strong understanding of contract lifecycle management, especially within clinical research and procurement contexts.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage relationships with both vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Demonstrable experience in negotiation and conflict resolution, as well as proven ability to effectively manage change
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills with effective time management
