We are looking for a Cagewash Technician II to join our Insourcing Solutions team located in Bethesda, MD.

What you will do!In the Cagewash Technician II role, you will use existing SOPs and quality assurance standards to troubleshoot equipment and report issues to the Cagewash Supervisor, as well as assist the Cagewash Supervisor with various types of training, including re-training, group training, or new hire training. In the absence of the Cagewash Supervisor, this role will be responsible for scheduling staff, as well as ensuring all work is completed. You may also need to communicate directly with manufacturers on equipment problems.
More general tasks for the Cagewash Technician II are performing general housekeeping,as well as maintaining facility equipment and performing routine preventative maintenance on cagewash and autoclaves.You will also sanitize, maintain, and repair animal caging materials as needed, as well as ensure cagewash facilities are kept in a clean and organized manner. Other tasks may include assisting with the receipt, stocking, and maintenance of supply inventories; as well as preparing and submitting required written records, charts, logs, and inventories. This position could also involve actively interacting with customers to resolve requests, inquiries, and complaints, and to provide technical assistance.
Job Qualifications
Who are we looking for?The ideal candidate would possess a high school diploma or GED (required) and have a minimum of six months successful performance in Cagewash facility operations (required).
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - 19.00 USD per hour. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
