As the Digital Media Strategy Director you will provide strategic direction, delivery and leadership on digital media initiatives, across new business opportunities and existing Medcom accounts as well as Parexel as a whole.  You will be responsible for developing new digital and innovative focused business strategies and solutions in line with an evolving market, Industry trends and client needs.  In addition you will gain a comprehensive understanding of Medcom’s service offerings and processes and contribute to the development of innovative service offerings.   As well as successfully marketing functional services and demonstrate significant client knowledge, supporting in new business opportunities and wins.

Knowledge and Experience:

  • Experience with Social Media data analytics such as, Insights 360, Brandwatch etc.
  • Extensive knowledge of Digital best practices across channels and a keen eye for reviewing Digital content for consistency, voice, channel nuances, brand/program style and strategically assessing analytics reports against established KPIs
  • Track record of leading successful digital and social campaigns. Experience with social media strategy, content creation and campaign management – organic and paid initiatives
  • Knowledge of relevant guidelines and legislation as they pertain to Digital marketing or to health communications
  • Business development experience essential
  • Healthcare, CRO, Pharmaceutical Industry, Client or MedComs Agency experience essential
  • Minimum of 5 years-experience in Digital Engagement

 Education

  • Relevant degree and/or equivalent managerial, business development and account management experience as above within the pharmaceutical industry in a similar role is required
