Evidera | PPD is looking for a smart, ambitious, strategic business partner (Human Resources Director) to build an effective and collaborative partnership with multiple leaders in our business. Preferably based in one of our East Coast offices (Waltham (MA), Bethesda (MD), Raleigh (NC) or Wilmington (NC), remote locations may be considered) you will deliver comprehensive human resources programs, initiatives and solutions to increase organizational performance – supporting key leaders within Evidera | PPD business.

Job Description:

You will be an established HR leader, with the ability to build credibility and trustworthiness to ensure an effective advisory role and provide HR guidance, critical evaluation and fit for purpose HR solutions based on operational drivers to this global group. You will be an effective influencer and communicator, leveraging internal networks across multiple functions, including the wider HR teams, Centers of Excellence and HR Shared Services to support a cohesive HR strategy.

To be successful in this position, you should be an excellent problem solver and decision maker that can communicate professionally whilst networking effectively in a matrixed organization in the process of major transition. You should be self-motivated with a positive outlook that is able to gain the influence others though your HR expertise, experience and passion.

Duties Include but not limited to:

Identifies key HR issues within client groups and ensures efficient delivery of services. Coaches business partners on creating and maintaining a work environment with high morale and productivity.Advises business leaders on talent acquisition, development and retention with a focus on productivity and organizational design.Strong business acumen with ability to understand complex organizational structures and environments.Proactively drive appropriate strategies for engagement, development, succession planning, DEI, and M&A Integration.Facilitates talent reviews and consults with leaders to integrate talent management and leader development across the businessIdentify opportunities for efficiencies in business-facing work processes; propose and/or implement innovative approaches to solutions where appropriate Develops partnerships with COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards & Talent Management, L&D, Legal) to engage, plan, and execute talent initiatives. Leverages data analytics and reporting to translate metrics and/or trends to business leaders to achieve business unit and organizational objectives.Collaborates with business leaders to develop an understanding of strategic business initiatives, objectives and key deliverables, identifying current and future trends impacting business strategy and global HR standards.Advises and coaches senior leaders on the management of complex and sensitive employee relations matters through early intervention and appropriate corrective action.Expert knowledge of employment law regulations, principles, programs, trends and best practices.Serves as a strategic partner to senior leaders on culture building, coaching, team development, performance management and workforce analysis.Designs and executes change management and communication initiatives.*LI-NA1#GD

Education and Experience:

Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 12 – 15 years), including client relations focus.

5 years of management responsibility

Experience working in a global, matrixed business environment preferred
