Job Description for Onsite Role:

  • Storyboarding all deliverables and planning work schedule in consultation with client teams
  • Conceptualize business need by understanding the client’s business need – aid in storytelling /summarize/edit/ structure/synthesize and organize content to suit narrative
  • Simplify complex voluminous text/data/slides/PDFs/articles/infographics/information into easy-to-digest executive-ready summaries for senior leadership distribution and consumption
  • Plan visualization and craft design ideas in partnership with offshore FTE to build final deliverables
  • Manage/oversee and coordinate projects independently, under leadership supervision and guidance
  • Overall client Coordination, collaboration with multiple client, IQVIA leadership and offshore POCs to create formatted client ready deliverables on time, with quality and high standards
  • Act as PMO – offer Project Management support on multiple workstreams, cross-pollinate and send periodic updates, action items and strategize to achieve collective success for ongoing projects
  • Ensure project closure and collect feedback – to translate into gains for subsequent engagements

Oversee/coach/collaborate and ensure the following tasks are performed by offshore:

  • Create deliverables to look concise, visually appealing (info graphics), & ‘presentation-ready’ for senior leadership per client standards
  • Create slides, new/custom visualizations, templates, infographics to build into story/narrative
  • Create illustrations/images/diagrams/snapshots/JPG/flow charts as editable PPTs
  • Provide consistency across all deliverables per client standards; including color scheme, labeling,
    font, terminology, naming convention preferences etc.
  • Accommodate for quick turnaround ad-hoc alongside planned support
  • Create and/or maintain a living client slide-template (library) for quicker re-usability across
    different projects/deliverables/teams

Additional ‘Good to Have’ Skills

  • Strong content processing expertise, functional domain knowledge Immunology (iPVU) and Neurology (nPVU) to help business leaders identify and prioritize high impact business problems
  • Use a working knowledge of AI and analytics to translate the business problems to the data professionals who will create the models and analytics solutions;
  • Ensuring that the solution produces insights that the business can interpret and execute on, and communicating these insights to business users to drive adoption and ensure discussions on the implementation, supporting, if needed the potential corrective actions;
  • Advocating and driving a culture of data-driven and fact-based decision making

For this position you’ll need the following education, experience, and skills:

  • Knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry is ideal
  • Mastering project management skills is a must.
    • Candidate should be able to guide an analytics project from ideation through production and adoption. Should possess an understanding of the life cycle of an analytics project and be aware of the common pitfalls
  • Be able to build bridges between the functional and technical teams while challenging each team on their assumptions
  • Possess strong quantitative skills and you are a structured problem solver
  • Doesn’t necessarily need to be able to build analytics models by themselves, but will need to be knowledgeable of what types of models are available and to what business problems they can be applied
  • Need to subtly be able to challenge the data engineers and data scientist and possess an 80/20 mindset to push for fast model iterations
  • Be able to interpret model results and identify potential model errors (e.g., overfitting, model bias, correlation vs causation)
  • Have an agile mindset and love to test-and-learn
  • Very Important – To be a “crisp communicator” and can tailor their communication style to technical and non-technical audiences alike. Should be adept at building a storyline to communicate the analyses to business leaders
  • Bring forth an intrapreneurial spirit and create “creative visuals, talking titles and/or solutions to technical and organizational roadblocks that can emerge in course of work
