Posílení postavení žen a poskytovatelů pro lepší péči o močovou inkontinenci (UI) [Studie EMPOWER]

Celkovým cílem je zlepšit diagnostiku a neoperační léčbu močové inkontinence u žen.

Detailní popis

Ve studii budou pacienti vyšetřováni v ordinacích primární péče na příznaky močové inkontinence. Ženy s pozitivními výsledky screeningu budou dotázány, zda mají zájem o účast v implementační studii, kde budou ženy zařazeny do jedné ze tří následujících skupin:

  1. Obvyklá péče plus možnosti edukace pacienta – Močová inkontinence pacienta bude řešena pomocí standardní péče, kterou poskytne poskytovatel primární péče o pacienta. Pacientům budou nabídnuty vzdělávací příležitosti o močové inkontinenci.
  2. Navigace sestry – Spolu s léčbou popsanou v části „Obvyklá péče plus možnosti vzdělávání pacienta“ bude navigátor sestry pracovat s pacientem na implementaci změn chování a poskytovat možnosti vzdělávání a fyzikální terapie. Kromě toho bude navigátor k dispozici, aby mohl včas odpovědět na pacientovy otázky a pomohl pacientovi pohybovat se cestou péče.
  3. Navigace sestry a ChatBot – Spolu s léčbou popsanou pro „Obvyklá péče plus možnosti vzdělávání pacientů“ a „Navigace sestry“ bude tato skupina zahrnovat funkci ChatBot, která umožní pacientovi přímo a soukromě komunikovat s ChatBotem řízeným umělou inteligencí, také známý jako "konverzační agent", který poskytne vzdělání a pomůže pacientovi orientovat se na cestě péče.

Všichni účastníci budou během zápisu vyplňovat dotazníky a údaje budou shromažďovány ze zdravotní dokumentace. Studijní tým bude analyzovat data šest měsíců po původní schůzce/zařazení do studie, posoudí dodržování terapie a jak terapie ovlivnila výsledky, které tým doufá zlepšit, jako je zlepšení symptomů. Studie bude realizována ve třech po sobě následujících časových obdobích nazvaných Vlna 1, Vlna 2 a Vlna 3, přičemž do každé vlny budou zapojeny praxe primární péče ze dvou geografických regionů (celkem 6 regionů). Účastníci vlny 1 budou sledováni po dobu celkem 18 měsíců, zatímco účastníci vlny 2 budou sledováni celkem 12 měsíců a účastníci vlny 3 budou sledováni po dobu 6 měsíců. Poskytovatelům primární péče na všech zúčastněných praxích budou nabídnuty vzdělávací příležitosti týkající se močové inkontinence.
