Responsibilities
- Practical experience in continuous and end-to-end testing processes and methodologies/frameworks using modern JS automation frameworks
- Real-life experience with Agile methodologies including SCRUM; experience working with Test Suites and Test Plans
- Strong experience developing test cases and automation suites from business requirements and specifications
- Experience analyzing defects and preparing defect reports and defect metrics, preferably automated
- Ability to articulate the role of testing in software implementation and to influence the team towards a culture of "failing early" and "building quality in"
- Experience working with Selenium (or other automation tools) implementing parallel test execution
- Exposure to development builds and deployment procedures using Continuous Integration (CI)
- Ability to collaborate effectively and communicate transparently
- A history of successfully bringing innovative solutions to complex problems
- Very strong problem-solving and analytical skills with strong attention to details
Requirements:
- 5+ Years of Experience in Quality Assurance Methodologies & Quality Assurance Processes including Test Automation using Selenium WebDriver or JS-based frameworks.
- Strong written, verbal, analytical, attention to details, and communication skills
- Automated testing experience is mandatory
- Knowledge requirements:
- Modern Javascript/Typescript
- Good understanding of how Browser works
- Good understanding of HTTP, RESTful and API Testing
- Expertise with testing web applications and services
- Expertise with databases with the ability to write SQL queries
- Understanding of modern development stacks
