Engineering Assistant, R&D

To support R&D projects in the following activities

· SKU creation and AWR release for new parts.

· Creation part/assembly drawings (using SolidWorks). Convert 3D model into engineering drawing in accordance with standard and specification requirements.

· Support Electrical & Electronic function on creation of cable harness drawings.

· Create assembly process for work instruction transfer to engineering / manufacturing.

· Release and maintain the engineering drawings (mechanical / electrical) and BOM release into agile.

· Support in Bill of Materials (BoM) management for the NPI projects

· Support in jig & fixture design whenever required.

· Provide technical assistance and support project development builds whenever required.

· Support to maintain laboratory housekeeping and ensure to comply with EHS and 5S standard requirements.

Qualification

· Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or other engineering related fields

Experiences

· Knowledge about jig & fixture design, drafting and engineering drawings, blue print, diagrams. Experienced working in R&D environment is preferably.

· Experience in PDM / PLM system such as agile or Oracle Cloud is an advantage.

Competencies Preferred

· 3D CAD knowledge/ experience (e.g. Solidworks / Pro) will be added advantage

· Resourceful with strong problem solving skills and ability to work independently

· Good spoken and written English skills

· Excellent communication and follow up skills
