We are currently looking to hire a Sample Management and Archive Coordinator to join our team in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, on a 1 Year Fixed Term Contract.

In this role you will be performing a variety of Sample Management and/or Archives responsibilities in compliance with appropriate SOP’s and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Clinical Practice (GCP) or Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) regulations (as appropriate) in support of various Business Unit Operations.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Performing any combination of sample management and/or archive tasks, including labelling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials.

  • Sample accession core tasks, including box opening, inventory/labeling, receipt/store, and pulls/returns.

  • Using tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity.

  • Accurate protocol and relevant documentation interpretation (i.e., Sample Analysis Outline, client paperwork).

  • Documenting and communicating discrepancies to appropriate personnel, and assists with problem solving.

  • Maintaining client and business confidentiality.

  • Maintaining storage units

  • Ensuring company procedures are followed in relation to security and access to relevant areas and data or sample integrity

Working Conditions and Physical requirements include

  • Repetitive motion via samples and computer terminal.

  • Lifting up to 25 kilos/50 pounds on a frequent basis.

  • High volume and high production environment.

  • May work within a cold storage environment
