Labcorp is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team inLabcorp's Revenue Cycle Management Division. This Account Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting Billing operations to ensure collection of account documents are processed within our Service Level Agreements.  Efficient in using several different applications todeterminethe next action and is proficient in simultaneously handling multiple responsibilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Sort/open and process mail as it comes from the United States Post Office and prepare for next actions for cash posting and denial posting departments including- processing credit card payments in accordance with the PCI policy

• Research patient control numbers on checks/Explanation of Benefits (EOB’s) using the Labcorp Billing System

• Prepare documents for outgoing mail to patients, clients, and insurance companies

• Meet and maintain production goals

• Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures

• Perform required process improvement Lean activities (Go Meetings, 5S, etc) according to established expectations

• 10 key and data entry

REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office

• Ability to quickly learn new methods

• Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills

• Able to work on inventory that is repetitive

• Alpha-Numeric Data Entry and 10 key proficiency and accuracy

• Standing for long period of time

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Able to lift 25 lbs

Pay Rate:  $15/hr or State/Local minimum wage, if higher
