Évaluation ostéopathique sur des patients souffrant de maux de dos non spécifiques : une étude de fiabilité observationnelle inter-examinateurs
Le but de cette étude est de déterminer si deux évaluateurs ostéopathes ayant moins de 5 ans d'expérience seront en mesure de déterminer la même localisation et la même nature de la ou des lésions ou restrictions primaires chez des patients souffrant de douleurs dorsales chroniques non spécifiques en utilisant une démarche globale d'évaluation ostéopathique.

Le mal de dos est l'une des premières causes de consultation en rééducation.
L'établissement d'un diagnostic lors de l'évaluation initiale du patient est essentiel pour choisir un plan de traitement spécifique pour ce patient, quel que soit le type de thérapie que le patient choisit de suivre.
La médecine factuelle est la référence actuelle pour la plupart des professions de la thérapie manuelle, et de nombreuses recherches ont été effectuées dans le but de donner de la crédibilité au seul outil que toutes les professions de la thérapie manuelle partagent : la palpation.
Peu d'études ont pu démontrer un taux acceptable de fidélité inter-examinateurs pour la palpation.
Cette étude combinera un régime de test global, une formation consensuelle pour les évaluateurs et un accès à l'historique des blessures avec des sujets symptomatiques pour vérifier la fiabilité inter-examinateurs d'une évaluation ostéopathique sur des patients souffrant de lombalgie chronique non spécifique.

Critère d'intégration:
- Hommes et femmes de 18 à 60 ans
- Doit avoir des antécédents de maux de dos non spécifiques (non dus à une pathologie connue, par ex. hernie discale ou maladie dégénérative discale) qui n'est actuellement pas irritée et qui ne l'a pas été au cours des 8 dernières semaines
- Doit être disponible pendant 3 heures consécutives
Critère d'exclusion:
- Patients ayant une cause connue de leur mal de dos
- Patients ayant eu une poussée de symptômes au cours des 8 dernières semaines
- Patients en cours de rééducation ou ayant reçu un traitement manuel au cours des 8 dernières semaines.
- Patients qui prennent quotidiennement des médicaments contre la douleur
- Femmes enceintes
- Conditions médicales majeures : fractures, arthrite dégénérative, troubles inflammatoires, spondylarthrite ankylosante, sclérose en plaques, cancer, paralysie, accident vasculaire cérébral ou antécédents récents de commotion cérébrale
- Toute autre condition qui empêcherait le participant de compléter l'évaluation
