<p><span>The Workday Functional Lead is responsible for managing all aspects of Workday product management including establishing governance, creating multi-year roadmap, managing day to day operations and support new projects/enhancement/upgrade.  The incumbent will lead a team of functional business analysts, solution architects and developers in the identification, creation and management of Workday solutions critical to productivity and organizational effectiveness.  Responsibilities include partnering with HR leaders to understand their business requirements and identifying technology solutions that meet those requirements.  When faced with conflicting or complicated requirements, the incumbent must be able to evaluate all options, leverage sophisticated critical thinking skills to evaluate possibilities and influence a solution that not only meets the immediate needs of his/her customer but position the solution in the broader strategic HR technology roadmap.  The incumbent will also collaborate with other business functions, including IT and Finance on technical development, strategy and interdependencies.  In addition to supporting Workday, the incumbent is responsible for overseeing legacy HR systems. The incumbent has stewardship over the HR technology roadmap and the enterprise HR technology strategy.</span></p><p></p><p><b><span>Essential Job Duties:</span></b></p><p><b><span>                                                                                      </span></b></p><ul><li><span>Partners with internal customers to understand business objectives and key HR drivers behind those objectives.</span></li><li><span>Provides a deep level of subject matter expertise in Workday and other HR technologies like Saba, PeopleSoft HR, SuccessFactor, EV5, and leverages that knowledge to implement/enhance technology solutions that meet the needs of the business.</span></li><li><span>Is conversant and stays current with the global HR technology marketplace. Understands technology trends and capabilities.  </span></li><li><span>Leads a team of Workday Functional Analysts in the creation and support of Workday solutions. Implement and govern best practices around project management, business analysis, data governance and application management.</span></li><li><span>Governs application development including the multi-year roadmap, ensuring all solutions are directionally aligned with the HR technology strategy</span></li><li><span>Leads large scale, multi-year, multi-million dollar HR technology implementations. Manages project teams composed of internal and external resources in the successful development and delivery of complex, global HR technology solutions.</span></li><li><span>Work with cross-functional team (HR/IT/Finance) to plan the scope, cost, effort, resource for HR projects. Actively participate in funding process.</span></li><li><span>Understands organizational capability and capacity. Advises and influences Sr. HR leadership in the determination of technology solutions that address business strategy while accounting for organizational constraints.</span></li><li><span>Demonstrates a discipline of system and application governance, quality outcomes and accountability within the team and the broader HR organization</span></li><li><span>Stewardship in managing all aspects of Workday operations including but not limited to production support, enhancements, upgrades.</span></li><li><span>Ensure internal processes are established to achieve data and system integrity. Serve as a point of contact to support any audit/compliance/regulatory escalations</span></li><li><span>Ensure timely resolution of issues within SLA. Ownership of producing metrics on volume and trends and implement solutions to reduce production support issues</span></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Education:</b></p><ul><li><span>BA/BS required.
