Our Clinical Specialists are actively involved with Clinical Account activity, Strategic Sales Strategies, Business Development and Contract Implementation and Business Reviews.A Day in the Life:

As part of our Sales Team, you are accountable for developing key business relationships with senior level decision makers within Fisher’s clinical accounts. Working with a minimal amount of supervision, you will increase sales through highly focused selling to new customer opportunities (through direct sales efforts, contract negotiations, product and process detailing) in a highly competitive market.

Keys to Success:

Education:

  • Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Science (BMLS) or Bachelor of Science (BSc) with appropriate major required
  • MSc or PhD is an asset

EXPERIENCE

  • 2+ years of successful hands-on clinical lab or clinical sales experience
  • Laboratory technician experience strongly preferred (experience with workflows pertaining to Anatomical Pathology, Histology, Immunohistochemistry, Hematology, Microbiology)

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Approximately 30 to 50% travel will be required for this role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and vehicle
  • Must be able to travel to the US
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An ability to identify business opportunities in relation to growth strategies
  • Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills
  • Self-motivated, goal oriented and able to work from a home office
