Account Manager (Sales, BioProduction Group​)

The BioProduction Account Manager (BAM) supports the Commercial team within the BioProduction Group!

  • Location: Seoul and Field (travel rate is over 50%)
  • Type: Regular (정규직)
  • Major Work Scope: Account management, Sales
  • Client Coverage: All portfolio of BioProduction Group (Single-Use Technologies Hardware and Consumables, Cell Culture/Microbial Medias, Purification Resins, Analytical QC Testing, and Production Buffers & Chemicals.)

Responsibilities

The Bioproduction Account Manager (BAM) is responsible for implementing sales and marketing strategies and tactics for related product/service lines to achieve sales and profit goals in their designated geographic territory. The BAM is expected to use the knowledge of the business and external contact to expand and deliver profitable initiatives to the organization.

  • Achieve committed individual sales quota & annual target as well as contribute on team’s goal.
  • Accurate demand planning & forecasting through comprehensive use of Salesforce.com and Drive regional promotional initiatives and sales strategies in alignment with Divisional Marketing Strategy into account/territory
  • Successfully execute selling activities based on data analytics by tools and by prioritizing Marketing/ Sales programs
  • Develop/enhance customer/distributor relationships to drive revenue growth in the designated territory through the effective use of Salesforce.com in managing the opportunity pipeline.
  • Differentiate customer experience and increase conversion rate from lead to Opportunity.
  • Establish our products in all early phase molecules in clinical development in biotech companies and be an active advocate in following the molecule from development to market
  • Coordinate with Divisional Business Units and customers to identify potential issues within the supply chain and determine the best course to mitigate and minimize any negative impact to customers
  • Interpersonal skills to deal with internal/external stakeholders.
  • Always personal & relevant with customer- insight & data driven
  • Approachable, responsive & accountable

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in sales in the BioProduction, Biologics, Bio-pharmaceuticals, life sciences industry, etc
  • Over 5 years of experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in science or, MSc. in life sciences (Preferred)
  • Previous experience in Bioprocess Industry would be good.
  • Experience in key account management is an added advantage.
  • Established sales history and relationships with the upstream and downstream process and Strong Knowledge in Bioproduction process
  • Must have the ability to develop knowledge of accounts and key customers and to interpret customer's needs and identify solutions.
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
