Clinical System Developer (Study Specific Reports Facilitator)

General Summary:

Uses technical, industry and interpersonal skills to facilitate the programming of protocol-specific Data Visualisation Dashboards.

What you will be doing:

  • Reviews study documents (e.g. Protocol, EDC Specification, Data Transfer Agreements) to understand requirements and Critical to Quality (CtQ) factors.
  • Develops and write the design specification for the data visualisation dashboard, in collaboration with the Central Monitor and Clinical Programmer.
  • Reviews and comments on the programming output and data visualisation output to ensure they meet the agreed specification.
  • Follows SOPs and Work Instructions, and has a detailed level of knowledge of the protocol.
  • Serves as a resource for, and interacts with, other functional areas and roles to resolve issues and meet timelines.
  • Attends, prepares for, and participates in meetings as required.
  • Develops and implements improvements to technical processes as needed.

You are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative, scientific or health-related field
  • 3+ years comprehensive experience in clinical data analytics and/ or data management activities.
  • Ability to work independently to drive activities, keeping the teams on track.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills with experience working and communicating within cross-functional teams, and across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to interpret complex data requirements, and to apply technical solutions.
  • Sound knowledge of biometrics procedures, workflows and software systems, including data visualization dashboards.
  • Understanding of clinical protocols and different data sources (e.g. EDC, eCOA, Central Labs)
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills to understand and analyse complex data visualisation requirements.
  • Demonstrates good knowledge of the drug development process, with basic knowledge of Risk Based Monitoring (RBM) principles.
  • A basic understanding of programming is an advantage.
