Data Science Intern
How You Will Make an Impact
In this role you will be a key member of the Commercial Finance Analytics team. The position reports to the Sr. ManagerCommercial Finance. You'll use your analytics / data science and communication skills to provide important reports and analysis. Your contributions will streamline processesand build additional analytics capabilities within the commercial finance function.
What You Will Do
Data Science
Build model that identifies outliers in Revenue / Bookings trendsto assist weekly data science standup with leadership
Build Revenue Forecasting capability for Freight and Financial Adjustments
Explore Market Basket model for Academic segment in NA
Work alongside the Finance Analyst in DSR (Daily Sales Report)automation project
Build Power BI Dashboards
Systems Reconciliation: CMR, Planning and SPoT.
Bookings outlier dashboard that identifies data entry issues
Backlog CRD data quality check and correction for forecast model accuracy improvement
How will you get here?
Shows passion and drive to make a difference
Full time student completing bachelor’s/master’s degree in Data Science, Mathematics, or Finance
Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Results oriented through initiative, ownership, and accountability

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is –.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
