Job Summary

An Archive Associate vacancy now exists within the Archives Department based in Tranent.

You will assist the Archivist in ensuring the correct operation of the Company Archives, which receives and manages a variety of data.  Specifically, you will assist with receipt, storage, retrieval, retention, scheduling and final disposition of data and samples.This position would suit a meticulous individual, preferably who enjoys working within organised and well-established procedures and should be neat and methodical in their approach to work.

Applicants must have:

  • Strong attention to detail
  • Well-developed customer service skills
  • Experience of working within a team environment
  • Experience of computerised data entry, data management, and word processing would be a distinct advantage, as an Electronic Management System is used for Archiving, although full training will be given.

Salary for this role is £24638.06 per annum.
