Technical Sales Specialist – Molecular Biology (MB TSS)
We are looking for an addition to our team – as a MB TSS, you will represent the Molecular Biology Tools and Automated Sample Preparation portfolios, supporting our Academic, Diagnostic, Government, Biotechnology/Pharmaceutical and Hospital/Clinical customers in their scientific endeavors! The ideal candidate will be working alongside a team of account managers, distribution partners, business development partners, and other technical specialists – all with a shared goal of enabling life science researchers to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer.
You will also influence other functions, including product management, marketing, and other commercial partners, to support the business. Together we will drive revenueand exceed growth targets. Our success will come from your work ethic, eye for business, relationship-building skills, understanding of key markets, and passion to achieve ambitious targets.
Location/Division Specific Information
Biosciences Division, Life Science Solutions Group, Molecular Biology Business – Field-based. Remotely supporting Seattle/PNW and Western Canada customers.

How will you get here?
Education
Requires a bachelor’s degree in any life science and/or four years sales experience
Role success profile
Experience
5 plus years of research and/or sales experience in a scientific related market is strongly preferred
Experience working in a team environment
Proven track record to strategize and achieve results
Knowledge and Skills
Molecular Biology and/or Nucleic Acid Purification Experience
Must have hands-on experience with molecular biology lab techniques via prior work experience and/or education
Relevant customer and/or market knowledge
Computer proficiency (ex. MS Office)

Location
Remote, field-based. Based in Seattle.
50-75% travel required within territory
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Washington is $83,000.00–$120,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
