The Logistics Specialist organizes and responsible for a variety of logistics tasks and issues in spare parts logistics environment including, Service spare parts supply chain, Inventory Control, Maintaining Parts Availability, Warehousing, Import and Export Licensing, Shipping and Reverse logistics, Supervising employees, and preparing related documentation in compliance, Develop high level reports and dashboards based on data collected from multiple sources.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating local and international shipments in line with company requirements
  • Timely preparation and ensuring integrity of supportive document for import/export shipments.
  • Inventory control processes management and maintain inventory level in accordance with company procurement policy & procedure.
  • Place order to procure requisitioned items from authorized supplier and convey delivery schedule to meet general or specialized needs.
  • Control and handle reverse logistics.
  • Maintain and file all records in accordance with company policy.
  • Participates in process improvement efforts.
  • Participates to logistics projects within Operations (e.g. introduction of new logistics methods & planning concepts, ERP, productivity improvement, efficiency improvement, organizational development etc.)
  • Collaborate with multifunctional teams.
  • Train and mentor other staff on effective logistics techniques.
  • Analyze and develop high level reports.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Extensive knowledge of logistics procedure, Inventory control, warehouse management, Import/Export and Transportation
  • Requires 3 to 5 years professional work experience in Logistics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook and power point)
  • Proficient in English speaking, reading and writing.
  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Preferred experience in ERP (QAD) system
