The Role:

Our largest UK site in Harrogate, is currently recruiting for a Validation Chemist to join the LCMS Bioanalysis team.   

As the Validation Chemist, you will be based in the laboratory. You will validate LCMS bioanalytical methods developed by the method development team; before they are utilised by the operational team to test client samples.

Job Responsibilities include:

  • Testing the stability and robustness of LCMS bioanalytical assays.
  • Troubleshooting LCMS assays with assistance from the method development team.
  • Tabulating data.
  • Working with both the method development team and operations group to support clients LCMS bioanalytical projects.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulatory GxP guidelines.

Education/Qualifications:

  • Scientific degree (BSc/MSc/PhD or equivalent).

Experience:

  • Essential: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with multiple departments and people at all levels.
  • Essential: Computing skills.
  • Essential: Minimum 1 year of experience working in a GxP lab
  • Desirable: Experience working with LCMS.
