We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our team located in our Sydney office where you will help support the ANZ Commercial revenue and profitability processes. You will be part of a highly visible and interactive team, where you will be responsible for managing revenue/accounts receivables for a diverse set of business lines that offer bespoke solutions into the medical and healthcare industry.

Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the revenue accounting for the ANZ business by review, approval and maintaining customer contracts in ERP system in line with corporate and accounting policies
  • Identify and resolve outstanding balances on monthly basis
  • Conduct weekly/monthly reporting to track cost and revenue performance against the plan / forecast
  • Participate in the monthly forecasting / annual budgeting process ensuring timely submissions within the financial systems
  • Maintaining our customer relationship management tools (SFDC) such as Dashboard reporting, data maintenance, Account allocations, product groups and hierarchy
  • Deliver efficient tracking tools, providing frequent reports on key company performance metrics
  • Participate in the yearly renewal process and review customer pricing
  • Review plan and actuals in the system to ensure accuracy in revenue recognition
  • Prepare presentations on revenue performance for sales and management meetings
  • Prepare audit materials for internal and external audit review. Also liaising with appropriate stakeholders to gather supporting materials to explain revenue transactions.
  • Conduct training on finance policies and business processes to new/ existing members of the commercial teams
  • Supports operation initiatives such as opportunity Management, resource planning, management tracking and forecasting

About you:

You’re comfortable working in a fast paced and dynamic environment and you’re ready to a step into a role that combines technical work and client interaction. If you have exposure within healthcare, it would be welcomed but it is not required. To be successful you will have:

  • Preferably between 4-6-years’ professional experience in a relevant field
  • Bachelor’s degree in commerce, Finance or Accounting, CPA or equivalent highly desired
  • Previous experience with GAAP/ SOX accounting standards
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent organizational, time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple work requirements to meet deadlines.
  • IT literate, advanced excel , powerpoint skills
  • Experience with SAP, Oracle (or other large ERP),Hyperion Essbase, Salesforce,  Peoplesoft systems highly desired
  • Experience in identifying financial issues and execute mitigating actions.
