We are looking for passionate, resilient, and inspiring individuals to join our team. As the Director Scientific Services & Editorial you are responsible for complete oversight of the Scientific Content and Editorial teams including hiring, staff development, training, and workload management. This position requires working with the Scientific Team and Editorial to improve overall editorial quality and to ensure all products delivered to clients are of the highest quality as appropriate to each project.

Balances poise and a sense of urgency. Within the context of the business strategy and objectives, works to identify and eliminate factors creating the crisis and to minimize recurrence.Manage staff to achieve and optimize group-level productivity, profitability, recoverability, and other business measures as definedEnsure delivery of quality editorial projects within specifications, timelines, and budgetsEnsure that each project produced is of the highest editorial qualityDevelop, communicate, and ensure that editorial standards are applied to allow for delivery of high-quality editorial products, as defined by clients and editors of targeted journalsInteract with clients to ensure that their needs are understood and the product team is meeting and, ideally, exceeding their expectationsParticipate in the development and application of a client satisfaction methodology to allow for the measurement and monitoring of client editorial satisfactionEnsure oversight at the product team level of scientific integrity and technical accuracy of all editorial projects to ensure maintenance of editorial qualityCommunicate editorial standards and styles to assist with quality control on all levels of a projectAssist with quality-assurance sign-off as appropriateMaintain a working knowledge of editorial guidelines and issues that impact commercial medical writing and publication planning

What you needA minimum of a Master's degree or local equivalentMinimum of 6-9 years of related experience Strong communication skills written and orallyStrong computer skills, sound knowledge of MS Office Suite and AdobeAbility to multi-task, support various projects
