私たちは、台湾の風土病では外因性再感染が非常に重要であると仮説を立てています。

まず、完全な治療後に結核が再発した患者を特定します。

結核(TB)は依然として世界で最も重要な感染症です。
台湾では近年、結核の発生率が増加しています。
制御の失敗は、結核菌の疫学を再評価する必要があることを意味します。
結核のほとんどの症例は、潜伏感染の再活性化によって引き起こされると広く考えられています。
したがって、治療プログラムは追加の症例の追跡ではなく治癒率に重点を置いています。
しかし、最近の研究では、外因性再感染が結核の発症に重要な役割を果たしていることが示されました。
さらに、局所発生率が高いほど、外因性再感染がより重要であると考えられます。
外因性の再感染と内因性の再活性化の問題は、結核の予防と治療のためのリソースの配分に影響を与えます。
これらの証拠に基づいて、台湾の風土病では外因性再感染が非常に重要であるという仮説を立てています。
