Corporate Account Manager, Pharmacy PSP

Job purpose


Develop & strengthen our client relationships to achieve our vision of becoming a trusted advisor. Drive revenue growth in reimbursement and patient support solutions through strategic prospecting & consultative selling across assigned accounts. Support the launch of new Pharmacy PSP programs as part of a cross-functional team.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Develop & strengthen our client relationships to achieve our vision of becoming a trusted advisor.
  • Lead development of account plan based on deep understanding of the client priorities with focused engagement plans to help the client achieve their goals as well as assigned revenue objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop and present proposed solutions that address client's business issues.
  • Monitor client satisfaction with existing programs and work with the Program Manager & Data Scientist to achieve and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Manage program renewals, ensuring contracts are maintained up to date and lead the execution of the contract renewal for ongoing client programs.
  • Achieve growth and revenue objectives for reimbursement solutions, patient support solutions as well as program insights & advanced analytics.
  • Facilitate internal cross-functional teams as required for brainstorming innovative solutions, researching and validating new opportunities and solving challenges.
  • Contribute to key processes such as forecasting, ensuring clear documentation to support all contracts & manage pipeline accurately on a weekly basis.
  • Contribute to the evolution and operationalization of the Pharmacy PSP leveraging market insights
  • Keep abreast of retail pharmacy evolution, pharmacist role and evolving pharmacy market dynamics

Qualifications

  • Sales skills –high level of familiarity with sales strategies to attract and retain corporate accounts
  • Relationship management building and maintaining lasting relationships with a wide range of clients. Corporate account managers should be responsive and accessible to maintain a high level of client satisfaction
  • Negotiation - skilled negotiator, able to develop contracts and agreements that drive profitability while providing a benefit to clients
  • Team collaboration – many corporate account managers work closely with sales teams and other professionals, so they should be able to effectively collaborate and coordinate with these teams
  • Analytical thinking – this role also requires excellent analytical skills to evaluate client accounts and make recommendations to drive profitability and gain market share
  • Networking –effectively communicate and network with other professionals through industry events
  • Retail & Trade pharmacy – expertise and knowledge of retail pharmacy business, business drivers and evolution
  • Market Access – knowledge of the different pharmaceutical market access dynamics

Education & Work Experience

  • University Degree in business, MBA an asset
  • Sales–5+ years of Pharmaceutical sales OR marketing role with particular focus on trade/retail account management
  • Or
  • Market Access – 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical or private payer market access role
  • PSP & Financial assistance program Management experience as an asset
