Covance is seeking a Sr. Manager, Finance to join our team.  In this role, you will:  Performs General Ledger and period end closing responsibilities related to revenue Prepares monthly financial reports, quarterly SEC schedules, account reconciliations, and other financial schedules or analyses as assigned. Coordinates all work requirements for all internal and external audits as needed Prepares and analyzes the unbilled/unearned revenue entries monthly Prepare and analyze the 606 revenue calculation on a monthly basis to ensure compliance and accuracy Ensure adequate documentation for revenue is provided in accordance with SOX standard Liaise between the Controllership and Financial Analyst Team to provide feedback to improve forecasting accuracy Support all 606 reporting requirements for both audit and operations Assist in the implementation of process improvements Lead PeopleSoft integration efforts as new acquisitions occur Performs other related duties or special projects as assigned by Management Assists Controllership team as required.

Education / Qualifications :  BA/BS in Accounting/Business

Experience: Analysis experience in CRO or other project related business Minimum 5 - 10 Years of experience in the job discipline Strong analytical & problem solving skills Proficient Excel skills Detail oriented and highly accurate Ability to work with minimal supervision Good communication and interpersonal skills Good planning and organizational skills Ability to work to deadlines and effective time management skills Ability to work with all levels of personnel Education/Qualifications:
