We are seeking a Senior Sample Processing and Materials Technician for our Biologics Testing Solutions site located in Malvern, PA.

An employee in this role will serve as a primary/lead technician and will perform a variety of Sample Processing tasks related to sample reception, storage,

and shipping. As this is a senior technician role, the job candidate will be expected to provide leadership, technical guidance, and mentorship of less experienced staff.

The following are responsibilities related to the Senior Sample Processing and Materials Technician:

• Complete training and perform laboratory activities necessary for all Sample Processing-related activities including, but not limited to: solution

preparation, sample receipt, use of Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), sample custody transfer activities, compliant

documentation, shipment of samples, support of critical component management, long-term sample storage, and maintenance of sample

records.

• Responsible for execution of sample reception and storage, including updates and maintenance of the storage database to ensure that it is complete and

without error.

• Oversee the general maintenance of all equipment related to the performance of sample management and schedule repairs as required. Perform any

laboratory maintenance and/or monitoring as necessary.

• Inform the appropriate department and Project Management staff of all sample-related issues as necessary.

The following are minimum requirements related to the Senior Sample Processing and Materials Technician position:

• Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in scientific discipline preferred

• Experience: Minimum 3 years related industry experience, preferably in a pharmaceutical or contract laboratory environment.

An equivalent of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

• Certification/Licensure: Not applicable

• Other: Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, instrumentation and analysis software. Excellent verbal, written communication and

organizational skills. Demonstrated independent analytical and problem solving abilities. Demonstrated knowledge of GMP regulations. Ability to

maintain client/sponsor relationships. Ability to interact appropriately with all levels of employees. Ability to work effectively as a member of a team.
