Associate Director, Product Management

Job Overview
This position will lead the effort to design and deliver scalable solutions in support of achieving the TDSE vision of an end-to-end clinical operations suite of services.  In collaboration with the Product organization, Site Portal Business Units, cross-customer user groups/feedback, and market research, a Senior Manager in the Product Organization will be responsible for the specification of TDSE Solutions and will manage the process of execution, testing, and release of these solutions.

Essential Functions

  • Drive large projects from concept through delivery
  • Define product requirements for solutions through engagement with the Product organization, Business Units, and user groups
  • Document product requirements including, but not limited to: use cases, flow diagrams, and sketches
  • Speak about individual TDSE modules to internal and external stakeholders
  • Stay current on industry trends
  • Build strong relationships with early customers to drive adoption of new products
  • Prioritize customer and business needs to develop product roadmaps
  • Represent technology in commercialization activities and the development of go-to-market plans
  • Act as product manager within an Agile development environment
  • Perform functional reviews and lead acceptance testing as needed
  • Contribute to the training and development of Product Analysts
  • Support thought leadership, press releases, conference exhibits, and other communication activities
  • Understand the full TDSE family of services
  • As requested by Sales, participate as domain expert in support of business opportunities

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of direct system implementation/configuration experience, preferably in an healthcare or clinical technology setting
  • Led transformation of Software as a Service initiatives from discovery through implementation
  • Developed strategic partnerships with software vendors that enabled revenue growth and/or operational efficiency
  • Passion to innovate existing business processes and translate your hypotheses into action through the application of agile software development practices
  • Desire to move forward quickly, balanced with the patience to manage complexity and drive large, multi-threaded projects to completion
  • Proven ability to establish credibility with a world-class team, leveraging business acumen, technical expertise, and effective communication
  • Promoted a shared vision of success, translate that vision into an operational plan, and work collaboratively and cross-functionally to achieve a positive outcome in the face of obstacles, challenges and set-backs
  • Working experience collaborating with user experience/UI design
  • Bachelor's Degree /MBA Preferred
  • Knowledge of product design principles and processes, as well as agile software development methodologies
  • Strong sense of MVP from Value Positioning and ROI for company and customers
  • Ability to break down the product idea to iterative product modules aligned with market and client expectations
  • Strong communications skills, including the ability to engage with clients and prospects to understand their business and operations requirements
  • Strong sense of prioritization and tradeoffs aligned with quarterly business objectives and  OKRs (Objective Key Results)
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, as well as attention to detail
  • Self-motivated – ‘Find a way to get it done’ attitude
