The purpose of the role is to support computer system validation (CSV) efforts by verifying and validating newly-developed and commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) enterprise application software products. Main position duties will be to:

• Support leadership with Automation Strategy and direction
• Maintain and develop Automation Framework
• Mentor and support roll out of Automation best practices followed by the team.
• Author, review, and approve CSV documents
• Author and execute test scenarios
• Understand and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) surrounding CSV efforts; identify and author process deviations when appropriate or as required
• Document software functionality and performance issues in an issue tracking system and track issues to resolution
• Hands-on participation in the full software validation life cycle will be required in this position.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Review software requirements for clarity, consistency, and testability
• Analyze and communicate test results to developers and software users
• Provide accurate estimates of validation effort timelines and project status updates
• Collaborate with the software development team to identify and assess risks associated with software development projects
• Participate in software development meetings to ensure validation best practices are understood and followed by the team
• Recommend improvements to the software validation process
• Support validation leadership through active exploration of emerging validation strategies and trends
• Maintain a repository of application-specific test scenarios

Our ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering or related in computer science.
• (HNC or HND or degree or equiv work experience)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Testing.
• Minimum of 3 years of Automation experience in C# (or Java).
• Exposure and experience working with Selenium testing framework
• Experience of API testing (using tools like Postman, SoapUI)
• Experience of Behaviour Driven Development or Test Driven Development
• Experience in Object Orientated Programming including Design Patterns (SOLID)
• Good SQL Server knowledge
• Testing certifications would be an added advantage.
