Associate Director – Marketing at IQVIA

Job Description

Position Purpose

The AD- Marketing is responsible for the overall marketing activities of IQVIA AMESA. Therefore he/she will collaborate with the different commercial teams, pillar leaders and the leadership team. The Marketing Manager works in the Market and Offering Development team and will therefore additionally work on projects related to communication, innovation and presales.

Principle Accountabilities:

  • Work with the Global Marketing team to develop marketing strategy and tactics that will deliver target outcomes

  • Own the overall marketing programmes, plan and deliver the programme from end to end, strategy development, campaign management and delivery 

  • Develop the marketing strategy for the AMESA business units in line with the company objectives

  • Develop and execute tactical campaigns working across the full marketing mix in collaboration with BU leads, improving lead generation and measuring results 

  • Organize IQVIA speaking slots on external events

  • Develop marketing collateral with clear and relevant messaging in collaboration with BU leads 

  • Liaise effectively with a range of external suppliers 

  • Support the internal communications work stream, working closely with HR and the business strategy function

  • Manage the social media for AMESA content – to include managing AMESA Twitter/ Linkedin and other social media handles and leveraging global accounts 

  • Produce and circulate thought leadership content (whitepapers, articles etc), marketing measurement reports and information relating to competitive analysis and market monitoring.

  • Organize lead generating events and marketing campaigns

  • OrganizeIQVIA speaking slots on external events

  • Coordinate sponsoring activities, presence on external events, memberships and affiliations with healthcare organizations. 

  • Reporting on marketing activities (budget, KPIs) to management and contact with NEMEA (Northern Europe Middle East Africa) marketing community

  • Responsible for brand awareness and implementation of corporate brand identity

  • Monitor market trends and competitive landscape

  • Work on different projects within the Market and Offering Development department

  • Support pricing strategy

  • Support and align with communication 

Education, Experience, & Specialized Knowledge Required:

  • Master Degree or equivalent by work experience;

  • A minimum of 8years’ experiencein business to business marketing;

  • Knowledge of Healthcare / Life Sciences is a plus;

  • Proficient in computer applications. Excellent knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel;
