IMPORTANT:   In order to be considered for this position, a resume/CV must be uploaded and submitted during the application process.  Please make sure work history and education are added correctly.    Job Summary The principal role of the Program Manager is to provide support to clients and internal stakeholders following the award of multi-site and/or multi-study Safety Assessment programs. Resolve moderately complex issues independently and escalate as appropriate.  Ensure communication with all stakeholders.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

•    Manage assigned projects/programs according to CRL’s best practices and project management methodology. 

•    Manage CRL and client expectations from project/program awardment to project/program closure. 

•    Deliver project/program scope and deliverables as defined within the CRL statement of work and amendments. 

•    Provide project/program leadership to the internal and external project team, clients, and stakeholders. 

•    Oversight of the project/program timeline while collaborating and supporting the CRL Study Director(s)/Scientists. 

•    Develop project/program communication and risk management plans, as applicable. 

•    Identify and manage the project/program dependencies and critical path. 

•    Negotiate and mediate with project team, clients, and stakeholders to deliver a proactive approach in the management of project/program issues and risks. 

•    Document and communicate timely status of the project/program, incorporating an overall health report on project/program timeline, issues, and risks. 

•    Consult with business development, client service and project coordination team members in areas of contracts and change orders. 

•    Foster relationships to support the success of the project/program delivery, and overall client relationship. 

•    Utilize best practices and tools for project execution and management. 

•    Provide feedback for improving the CRL project management best practices and methodology based on lessons learned to meet CRL and Client expectations. Job Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS: 

EDUCATION 

•    Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in a scientific or business discipline. 

•    Project Management certification: Advantageous, not required

•    Fluent in written and verbal English

EXPERIENCE 

•    Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management and/or client/study management, preferably in a life sciences company and/or multinational corporation.

•    An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted as a satisfactory substitute for the specific education and experience listed above.

•    Other:  Capable of working with minimal supervision, able to handle multiple tasks and effectively prioritize based on identified goals.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Organizational skills and attention to detail required.  Proficient in word processing, spreadsheet, and database software.  Ability to work effectively and efficiently to meet deadlines.
