Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Biohub Sales Specialist (Inside Sales) for our site in Wilmington, MAor other remote location deemed adequate to meet the needs of the business as well as that of position expectations.

The Biohub Sales Specialist is responsible for driving Research Model & Services sales and serving as a point of contact for sales customer inquiries. S/he administers the sales process for specific research models, services, accounts and/or sales opportunities via phone and e-mail. The role will be partnered with a Field Sales counterpart in the corresponding region (New England area) and the team will be responsible for engaging with existing customers and qualified sales leads while guiding customers to Research Model products and services that best meet their needs. Some of responsibilities include, but not limit to are coordinating with internal specialists to address customer questions/objections, providing pricing, creating and submitting individualized quotes, negotiating and coordinating with operations to ensure delivery of research models, and closing the sales process through the point of order receipt. This individual works closely with Marketing/Client Engagement, Field Sales partner, and Sales Operations to meet and exceed sales quotas for a specific territory.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILTIES: Identify, develop, and close Research Models and Services opportunities. Point of contact for all sales customer inquiries and outbound prospecting. Engage with existing customers and generating sales opportunities. Establish new customers and maintain/grow existing customer accounts in collaboration with Field Sales partner. Establish and nurture positive, productive relationships with customer accounts including models and services end-users, management and purchasing contacts. Work collaboratively with Marketing to drive product promotions and provide feedback on ROI. Share customer problems/concerns with relevant departments for quality resolution. Maintain a CRM database via updates to sales opportunities, sales stages, marketing statuses, and customer intelligence data. Attend tradeshows occasionally and aid in coordination of tradeshow events and or presentations. Travel – potentially 5-10%

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in a science or technical field. 2+ years sales experience with a technical life science. Experience with quickly grasping and mastering highly technical concepts and articulate them well to others. Outstanding listening, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and communicates effectively with a wide range of customer personality types including highly educated research scientific customers. Experience identifying customer needs, obstacles to the sales process, and providing solutions. CRM experience.
