Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for ensuring revenue recognition rules, billing processes & procedures are kept up to date and updated as necessary so that they are aligned to corporate finance policies and meet business needs. 
  • Provides financial analytics and support to BUs leadership, including monthly closing, financial reporting and providing audit support.
  • Maintains financial integrity and ensures compliance with the company’s financial policies
  • Strict adherence to tight deadlines and financial reporting requirements per GAAP.
  • Responsible for interacting regularly with BU Leads/Senior Leadership to ensure that finance is aligned to business
  • Lead revenue quarterly forecasting and annual financial planning.
  • Leads, supervises and develops revenue accounting team.
  • Oversees key initiatives: transition to new ERP & offshoring.
  • Calculation of quarterly commission for individual sales team members.
  • Drive improvement in Days Sales Outstanding & collection of outstanding AR balances

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting & finance
  • 5-7 years of experience, including team management
  • Strong communication skills and executive presence with the Senior Leadership
  • Strong cross-functional interactions with the business team members.
  • Develops a keen understanding of the business and the industry.
  • Strong technical skills, preferably experience using SAP, Oracle (ERP) & Essbase.
