Assoc Business Systems Dir

Job Profile Summary    

Provides high level of systems expertise and support in developing and enhancing business systems to provide new or enhanced products to clients or effective planning, reporting, and analysis tools to internal functions.

Responsibilities
     Essential Functions
•    Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives based on both user needs and a thorough understanding of business systems and requirements.
•    Devises or modifies procedures to solve complex problems considering equipment capacity and limitations, operation time, and form of desired results.
•    Includes analysis of business and user needs, documentation of requirements and translation into proper system requirement specifications.
•    Considers the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment.
•    Often instructs, directs, and checks the work of other business systems analysts.
•    Acts as a team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of a short to intermediate duration.

Experience
Typically requires 5 - 7 years of prior relevant experience.

Knowledge
Requires deep knowledge of one or more related job areas typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
Typically viewed as having a specialty within discipline.

Education    
Bachelor's Degree/ Computer Science or Business Administration, or equivalent experience            

Additional Work Experience    
Eight (8) years experience             

Skills and Abilities  
    Full technical knowledge of most phases of systems analysis.        
    Demonstrated ability to understand client requirements as well as underlying infrastructure applications, systems and processes to enable execution of those skills.        
    In-depth knowledge of current systems.
