The objective of a Clinical Data Associate I is to perform, under close supervision, entry level aspects of the data cleaning process, with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with Good Clinical Practices and Standard Operating Procedures/Working Practice Documents, in order to assess the safety and efficacy of investigational products and/or medical devices. The objective of a Clinical Data Associate I is to perform, under close supervision, entry level aspects of the data cleaning process, with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with Good Clinical Practices and Standard Operating Procedures/Working Practice Documents, in order to assess the safety and efficacy of investigational products and/or medical devices. Key responsibilities are performing initial review of data discrepancies and making database updates.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree or certification in a related allied health profession from an appropriately accredited institution (i.e. RN, MT, PA, RPh, RT)1 year experience in a professional environment, preferably with clinical or medical data or in a software development environmentIn some cases, a combination of performance, education and prior directly related experience may be considered as equivalent to the above requirements provided that the individual possesses the following knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job requirements satisfactorily
