Manages relationships with various suppliers to deliver agreed upon data. Ensures supplier data quality meets standards and established expectations.  Consults with clients and suppliers to provide insights gained from supplied content. Delivers profitability and recognition for the organization by selling and providing services to customers utilizing organization tools, techniques, and intellectual capital to assist the healthcare industry by bettering processes, implementing new technologies; and accruing new technical capabilities to meet pharmaceutical and medical demands.

Responsibilities

  • Engages with payers/organizations on behalf of clients and the organization
  • Develops strategy for expending scope of existing supplier contracts and identifying new business opportunities
  • Liaises frequently with internal stakeholders to determine business capabilities and solution potential and ensure effective delivery of objectives
  • Ensures compliance with prevailing processes and regulatory guidelines as necessary
  • Develops and manages project plans and agreed-upon contracts
  • Identify the main analytical approaches required to deliver the services and meet customer needs
  • Develop and execute market access strategies on behalf of clients
  • Interpret and analyze complex data, with knowledge of industry and goals to ensure effective and well harmonized delivery of objectives
  • Support as needed the response to RFPs in providing content expertise
  • Deliver excellent customer service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10 years relevant experience within pharmaceutical industry or payer (supplier/vendor) environment
  • Strong knowledge of Medicaid
  • Strong presentation and influencing skills
  • Strong team player with ability to collaborate and build networks across the industry
  • Attention to detail and ability to work simultaneously on multiple priorities
  • Ability to work creatively in a fast paced environment maintaining flexibility and changing priorities to meet demanding timelines
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and clients
