We have a unique opportunity for a Scientific Specialist focusing on Flow Cytometry supporting our Immunology & Immunotoxicology (I&I) team.  You will begin training in the US at our site in Madison, WI and then transfer to our site in Shanghai, China.  This senior level role in our I&I group is responsible for: Efficient development and transfer of analytical methods for Immunology and Immunotoxicology,including flow cytometry, Biomarker assays, Immunoassays (Ligand-binding/ELISA) as well as cell based assays and immune cell handling. The day-to-day monitoring and supervision of analyst’s work, ensuring procedures are scientifically robust, and meeting client requirements.

They will also work with Study Directors (SD) and other Responsible Analysts (RA) on GLP studies as a main point of contact for analysts and clients, taking responsibility for ensuring studies meet regulatory requirements and client deadlines.

 Education/Qualifications:Required:PhD preferred, or equivalent degree in immunology, immunotoxicology or related field, or Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in related discipline plus 8-10 years of experience. Experience may be substituted for education. Experience:I.       Experience: 8-10 years of related experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education. Customer service skills. Skilled in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports. Experience and knowledge of relevant instrumentation. Some experience in performing scientific presentation and preparing scientific publications. Demonstrated leadership skills Prior experience in I&I procedures, method development, and validation preferred. Knowledge of GLPs and regulatory agencies is required. Knowledge of computer validation process. Ability to interact effectively with all staff and management levels. Problem solving and decision making skills. Strong English writing and communication skills. Knowledge of laboratory automation software, system software, and Microsoft applications.
