Sr Technical Writer

The main goal of this role is to provide easy-to-use documentation to enable external and internal customers to install, administer, troubleshoot, and use Privacy Analytics software.
You will create content for customers to enable them to follow best practices for the implementation and use of Privacy Analytics software on Linux, Microsoft Windows, and AWS. You will also assist software developers and others to create and refine messages, labels, and other strings in the software.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
•    3+ years relevant work experience
•    Excellent writing and research skills. Candidates must be able to retrieve and synthesize information from many resources and pull all relevant information together into a comprehensive deliverable.
•    Proven use of markup languages while creating topic-based information that meets audience requirements.
•    Knowledge of information development processes and tools (such as Adobe FrameMaker, Adobe RoboHelp, or other similar tools).
•    Knowledge of REST API practices.
•    Experience working in an Agile or continuous delivery development environment.
•    Ability to work independently, while keeping an extremely strong sense of responsibility and commitment to teamwork.
•    Ability to juggle multiple parallel assignments while adapting to, planning for, and reacting to constant change

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise
•    Experience creating conversational-style writing.
•    Knowledge of HTML 5.
•    Knowledge of Confluence or similar tools.
•    Knowledge of Git-based source-control systems.
•    Experience documenting APIs.
•    Skills at defining, estimating, planning, and managing projects.
•    Familiarity with RedHat Enterprise Linux.
•    Understanding of basic statistical methods and concepts.
