Sr./Principal Procurement Analyst

The Principal Procurement Analyst role analyzes all company purchasing activity, recommends and implements new processes, procedures and training, maintains ongoing knowledge of the clinical procurement market, provides study bill of material support when required, supports bid requests, and formulates strategic global procurement strategy for the Laboratory Operationsand Kitting functions worldwide. Education and Experience:Bachelors degree in scientific or Procurement related field. 2 years sourcingexperience required. Supervisory and project management experience on highly visible projects desired or equivalent combination of education, training, and professional experience that provides the individual with the skills and abilities to perform the job Knowledge.

Skills and Abilities: Extensive purchasing background / knowledge, Strong knowledge of laboratory operations and clinical market. Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in problem solving and prioritizing. Able to handle multiple tasks under pressure. Self starter with ability to take initiative. Detail oriented. Advanced Excel knowledge. General Import/Export knowledge.
