Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and disseminates personnel information using the human resources/payroll information system.
  • Assists in the administration and processing of accurate and timely payroll each pay period.
  • Assists in administration of leave and benefit programs, including insurance and 401(k).
  • Provides assistance to employees, managers and other Health Care System customers relative to HR data information and issues.
  • Assists employees with completing various HR forms; ensures completeness and accuracy.
  • Provides assistance on data design and needs for special projects.
  • Provides assistance to HR members relative to HR systems processes and procedures.
  • Provides support in documenting HR processes for various systems.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to analyze difficult problems and recommend solutions
  • Excellent time management skills and strong attention to detail is required
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential employee relations issues professionally is required
  • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal input from management
  • Strong project management skills
  • Read, write, speak and understand the English language
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook required
  • SPHR, SHRM-SCP certification preferred
  • Experience with Workday HRIS system preferred
  • Experience with Kronos Payroll system preferred
  • Experience with Multi-state leave of absence administration preferred

Minimum Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in Human Resources department or equivalent combination of education and experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds, climb stairs, bend, and stoop as necessary.
  • Normal or corrected hearing and vision are required.
  • Normal office environment where approximately 70% of work is performed in a sitting position.
  • Frequent exposure to the outside hangar areas for meetings and employee relations functions for varying lengths of time.
