I. 에스트로겐 및/또는 프로게스테론 수용체 양성 진행성 유방암이 있는 여성에서 1차 치료로서 레트로졸 요법과 베바시주맙의 병용 요법과 레트로졸 단독 요법의 무진행 생존 기간을 비교합니다.

2차 목표:

I. 레트로졸을 단독으로 투여받은 환자 중 6개월 및 12개월에 진행이 없는 환자의 비율을 레트로졸과 베바시주맙을 투여받은 환자의 비율과 비교하기 위함입니다.

원발성 또는 전이성 환경에서 여성 유방의 침윤성 암의 조직학적 확인
- IV기 질환 또는 IIIB기 질환(American Joint Committee on Cancer[AJCC] 기준, 6판 사용)은 국소 요법을 따르지 않습니다.
환자는 비흑색종 피부암 이외의 "현재 활성"인 두 번째 악성 종양이 없을 수 있습니다. 환자가 치료를 완료하고 의사가 재발 위험이 30% 미만이라고 간주하는 경우 환자는 "현재 활성" 악성 종양이 있는 것으로 간주되지 않습니다.
종양(원발 또는 전이 부위)은 에스트로겐 수용체(ER) 및/또는 프로게스테론 수용체(PgR)를 세포의 >= 1%에서 발현해야 양성으로 간주됩니다.

- 전이성 설정에서 이전 내분비 요법은 허용되지 않습니다(최근에 전이성 유방암에 대한 1차 내분비 요법을 시작한 환자의 등록을 용이하게 하기 위해 등록 전 4주 이내에 타목시펜 또는 아로마타제 억제제를 시작하지 않은 경우). 이전 레트로졸 요법이 지난 4주 이내에 시작된 경우 환자는 연구 요법으로 레트로졸을 계속 사용해야 합니다. 타목시펜, 아나스트로졸 또는 엑세메스탄으로 치료를 시작한 환자는 이 연구에 참여할 자격이 있으려면 레트로졸로 전환해야 합니다.

- 난소 억제를 통한 사전 치료는 보조 또는 전이 환경에서 허용됩니다. 의학적 난소 억제가 시행되는 경우 프로토콜 치료 전 또는 시작 시 언제든지 시작할 수 있으며 시험 기간 동안 계속될 수 있습니다. 양측 난소절제술을 통한 외과적 거세는 연구 등록 최소 28일 전에 수행되어야 합니다(베바시주맙에 대한 상처 치유 불량의 우려로 인해).
환자는 이전에 항-VEGF 또는 VEGFR 티로신 키나제 억제제 요법을 받지 않았을 수 있습니다.

보조 또는 신보강 환경에서의 화학 요법은 허용됩니다. 등록 전 최소 12개월이 보조 또는 신보강 화학요법 완료 후 경과해야 하며 모든 독성이 해결되어야 합니다. 탁산 관련 신경독성은 감각 등급 < 2로 해결되어야 하며 어떤 등급의 운동 신경병증도 허용되지 않습니다.
환자는 전이성 질환에 대해 이전에 한 가지 화학 요법을 받았을 수 있습니다. 이전 화학 요법의 최종 용량은 연구 등록 최소 3주 전에 투여되어야 합니다.
비스포스포네이트 치료는 미국임상종양학회(ASCO) 지침에 따라 허용 및 권장됩니다.
환자는 연구 등록 전 28일 이내에 대수술, 개복 생검 또는 심각한 외상을 받은 적이 없어야 하며 그러한 절차에서 완전히 회복되어야 합니다.

환자는 연구 등록 전 6개월 이내에 복부 누공 또는 복강 내 농양의 병력이 없어야 합니다.
등록 전 12개월 이내에 위장(GI) 천공 병력이 있는 환자는 자격이 없습니다.
등록 전 6개월 이내에 상당한 출혈 에피소드(예: 객혈, 상부 또는 하부 위장관 출혈)의 병력이 있는 환자는 자격이 없습니다.
환자는 다음을 포함하는 임상적으로 유의한 심혈관 질환이 없어야 합니다.
