About the Opportunity:

The Regional Sales Manager – West Coast will manage the sales activities within an assigned region. Key responsibilities include training, coaching, hiring (when needed), leading, and motivating a team of 10 sales representatives to achieve sales objectives.

Experience, skills and competencies that lend themselves to this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is a plus
  • Minimum five (5) years of sales management experience and/or people management experience
    • B2B, dermatological, OTC sales or specialty pharmaceutical sales experience highly preferred
    • Working relationships with local Dermatologists, Pediatricians, and/or FP/GP’s is preferred
  • Minimum four (4) years of consistent, documented high level sales performance
  • Excellent Business Acumen with an ability to quickly analyze data into meaningful solutions
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships; establish credibility and rapport with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to implement and execute key marketing strategies, tracking success through KPIs
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills is required, demonstrating high level of integrity and accountability
  • Proven ability to effectively manage field assets and resources to include, but not limited to, expense management, computer and other allocated equipment.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Ability to effectively make written or oral presentations and respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community.
  • Must be highly proficient with MS Office, Windows, and familiar with sales tracking and reporting software
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed, up to 65%. This includes the potential of travel and work outside of normal working hours, as well as attend both corporate and trade meetings when required, which includes some weekends
