Summary:

Our Sales Manager is in charge of leading a team of sales representatives within a defined territory. Sales Manager is accountable for ensuring the team has effective customer relations, develops opportunities for growth within an existing customer base, and assures market penetration and profitability while achieving sales and profit forecasts. Complete account planning and forecasting, analyze reports on business, and lead performance of the team.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and manage a sales territory. Actively develop and target new business/sales opportunities within the marketplace. Manage the sales cycle.
  • Efficiently and proactively lead account managers’ performance through regular reviews & other company-standard processes etc.
  • Ensure your team align with Company procedures and policies.
  • Continually measure personal and team success against business plans making the crucial challenges, interventions and decisions to successfully deliver, or exceed plan expectations.
  • lead the sales team to drive sales strategies to meet plan and expand business within assigned territory; ensure team maintains a pipeline of opportunities to meet or exceed sales objectives
  • Manage team to maintain effective customer relations with purchasing and end user within assigned territory.
  • Leverage available resources to meet customer needs and work effectively with cross-functional team of supplier and internal resources.
  • Manage pricing within territory to control profitability.
  • Maintain accurate reporting, records, and files necessary for proper management.
  • Develop talents and build high performing team.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree majoring in industry-specific experience, preferably in the experience from related Life Science industries.
  • Strong sales management experience, channel management background and validated leadership abilities is preferable.
  • Good presentation, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to deal with scientific discussion with customers.
  • Good data analysis and biz planning skills.
  • High energy, team player and capability of working under pressure.
